I set myself a physical goal of 20cm weight loss. I achieved this with a total loss of 24 cms, and 9 from my waist.
My performance goal was to squat 55kgs and this was achieved in Week 9 of my program.
My most important goal was my lifestyle goal and for this I wanted to get outside with my boys more. I achieved this through my LIA. We walked a lot and went to the park and enjoyed each other’s company greatly.
I have decided to do another MP challenge, this time working with a trainer during FIRE sessions and I am very excited about this opportunity.
I have learned that MP is about lifestyle, not about 12 weeks. I have also learnt that this is MY journey. This isn’t about comparing myself to the photos that are posted by others’ on the MP facebook page. I have realised that this is about trusting the holistic process and to embrace MY progress. It is not about judging myself in relation to others because no one else has been on my journey.
I have gained increased confidence in my appearance. I have more energy and I am not longer wearing maternity underwear! (YAY!) I enjoy going to the gym and I use that as my “me time”. I am also outdoors a lot more (this has been a bit of a challenge for me as by nature I am a sedentary person) spending quality time with my family.
